Dalongkai Container Shears are powerful, versatile and cost effective.  They are a great choice for processing all kinds of HMS such as beams, rails, pipe, re-rod, skeleton plate, tanks and other types of heavy/oversize material. And they’re not as expensive as you might think – especially when compared to the cost of a gantry shear.

Advantages

The advantages of the container shear as compared to common guillotine shears can be summarised as follows

• Low investment and running costs

• Loading and picking up of the cut scrap from one material handler, no complicated actions of the material handler

• Continual loading of the shear in the feed hopper with simultaneous ejection of the cut scrap – no complicated and time-consuming pre-compaction by lids

• The shears are operated by the material handler operator – no additional operator needed

• Little space required as compared to vertical gantry shears

• No assembly and civil foundation costs are needed for operation

• Thanks to the horizontal cut with largely guided blade carriage there is little wear

• The forces working on the blade slider always tend towards the center, avoiding twisting forces

• All inner surfaces have wear plates covered and therefore undergo less wear

• The scrap is introduced from above, due to the movement of the pre-compressor the scrap automatically slips down and the cut scrap is pushed out of the front

• Operating experience thanks to over 300 working container shears in China.

• Ability to process most types of HMS including heavy metal scrap, bulky material, skeleton plate, and rebar.  In addition light and mixed metal scrap can be handled with ease
